TO FLY
The bird is generally a thought to symbolism of freedom, they can walk on the earth and swim in the sea as humans do but they also have the ability to soar into the sky. Many cultures believe that they symbolize eternal life; the link between heaven and earth. These birds represent a deeper meaning to my senses. When I gaze at the movement of the birds in the sky, I feel context-less. They are free to wander around and explore, just like my mind.
The techniques used to represent my prints are the use of high contrast. With extensive explorations, I used one print that attracted my senses towards extracting these compositions. The prints show movements of the birds from being in context to bleeding out of the focal point. The Prints do not show a limited boundary, this is an artistic decision to represent that freedom is not contained.
